Carolyn trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA) in London and was a Trustee for seven years. As a professional actor, producer, playwright and experienced teacher, she brings a mix of knowledge and experience to all her projects.

Adding to her acting and producing career, she started playwriting in 2013 and her first full length play was performed at The Old Fire Station in 2015. Since then, she has written two short screen plays, two radio plays, and six full length stage plays, two of which (Penetration and Can’t See For Looking) had a London run at The Cockpit Theatre in London, following a preview at The Old Fire Station Oxford. She is currently leading the Oxford Playhouse ‘Playmaker Later’ playwriting initiative and is a member of the Oxfordshire Theatre Makers (OTM) Steering group.
