This is the world premiere of a new play by Roy Peach.

When a first-year university student turns up at a community centre for an easy volunteering tick-box, he’s looking for content, not connection. What he doesn’t expect is Annie, who runs the space with zero tolerance for ego, excuses, or being watched. But Jake keeps pushing, and someone is watching him.

Mary, a retired headteacher, sees Jake as her next project - a young man she can shape, guide, and understand, but as she draws closer, her own secrets begin to surface, and the line between mentorship and control starts to blur. Outside the centre, Annie is fighting a different battle trying to hold onto her daughter, Beth, as old wounds and broken relationships resurface. Boundaries are crossed. Trust is tested. And care starts to look a lot like exploitation.
